How long does it take to build my website?

Most of the time, JDWebDesigns sources photos and copy from your business Facebook page, then builds and launches. If something is missing, you would send it over. First domain registration is included in the build. Hosting and domain renewals are covered on the Care Plan.

What do I need to provide?

Usually just your business Facebook page. JDWebDesigns sources pictures and copy from there. Only if something is not on Facebook would you need to provide it. A logo helps if you have one.

Do you handle domain registration and hosting?

Yes. First domain registration is included in the build. Hosting and domain renewals are covered on the Care Plan, which is what most small businesses take. If you leave Care Plan later or host elsewhere, you'll need your own hosting set up and the domain transfers to you.

Will my website work on mobile phones?

Absolutely! All websites are mobile-friendly as standard. Most of your customers will view your site on their phones, so this is essential and included in every package.

Can I update the website myself later?

Just message me with anything you want changed and I'll sort it ASAP! I offer a £35/month Care Plan. Month-to-month, cancel anytime with 30 days notice. Includes hosting and domain renewals. No technical knowledge needed on your end. If you cancel, you'll need to arrange alternative hosting and the domain transfers to you.

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments are processed securely. For the build: Stripe (card - 50/50 split available) or Klarna (interest-free). For the 12-month payment plan and Care Plan: GoCardless Direct Debit. Option 1: Pay setup fee upfront via Stripe/Klarna, then £35/month Care Plan via GoCardless (what most small businesses take). Option 2 (Most Popular): Spread the build cost over 12 months via GoCardless Direct Debit (£66/£79/£93 per month depending on package), with Care Plan hosting, domain renewals and support included during that period, then Care Plan continues month-to-month at £35/month. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice. If you leave Care Plan, you need alternative hosting and the domain transfers to you.
